Designer VS Dupe – Visual Comfort Goodman Pendant

I love a good designer light fixture, but I don’t always want to pay designer prices. When I built my new home, I shopped around for gold pendants. I had the Visual Comfort Katie pendants at my last home, and I loved the silhouette.
When looking for a conical-shaped gold pendant, I came upon the Visual Comfort Goodan pendants. I’ve seen them in professionally styled homes for years, and I’ve always loved the look.
While sourcing lighting for my new build, I stumbled upon this dupe for the Goodman pendant. The Savoy House Alden pendant is a fraction of the cost, and it looks identical to the Visual Comfort designer pendant.
I recommend that you purchase all of the pendants at the same time to ensure that the color is consistent with each light fixture. I mistakenly purchased them separately, and the color difference was pretty extreme.
So, when I compare the designer pendant at $1000 for the medium size with the dupe (large) at $318, it is a no-brainer for me.
There are several dupes for this chandelier; however, I love the Savoy House Alden and the Shades of Light Modern Metal Shade pendant. I ultimately purchased the second set of pendants from Shades of Light since they were sold out at Savoy House.
